Registration of financial institutions Insurance companies
The insurance company is a financial institution established in the form of joint stock, limited partnership or a company with additional liability in accordance with the "Economic Unions Act" of Ukraine, taking into account peculiarities stipulates by the "Insurance Act" of Ukraine and duly received a license to conduct insurance activities.
The subject of the insurance company may be the following types of financial services:
- Insurance;
- Reinsurance;
- Financial activity related to the formation, placement of insurance reserves and their management.
To carry out any kind of insurance the company must have a license issued by the State Commission for Regulation of Financial Services.
To obtain a license for insurance activity for specific types of insurance the company is obliged to fulfill all the requirements of normative-legal acts of Ukraine governing insurance activities.
