Managing partner of law firm Legal Consulting Center Arthur Nonko participated in a workshop discussion the draft Tax Code of Ukraine, which was held August 17, 2010 in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Borys Kolesnikov, the Head of the State Committee of Ukraine on Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship, Mikhail Brodsky, representatives of the State Tax Administration of Ukraine attended the meeting. During the meeting the issues of concern of the draft Tax Code were discussed, relating to the activities of small businesses, namely: the simplification of the taxation system, particularly taxation of small business tax on profits and the application of zero rate, the possibility of the repeal of provisions relating to the application of the normal price for taxpayers to value added, etc.
